Double Xyphos pallet with rubber shroud

Zeeeeefos? Exfos? Ziipos?

A lot of people have been struggling to pronounce the name of our new timber pallet alternative, and they have often asked – What does the name mean and what is the pallet made of?

Firstly, the pallets aren’t plastic or timber, they are a special type of steel – Built for durability, safety, and strength.

Xyphos, pronounced Xyphos, is a double-edged sword used by the Spartan warriors in Ancient Greece. We thought it was an apropos name because our entry-level range of cages and pallets is called the ‘spartan’ range and this innovative new product is an absolute weapon in moving the industry forward in the area of ease, safety and reusability.
