Transportation of their Valves (an essential component for controlling the flow of oil, gas and water in drilling and production) did not meet their needs for safety and security. Their wooden transport frames were not up to spec and did not meet security requirements, posing a significant safety risk.
5.5T and 8T Steel Pallets & a Customised Frame
Adjustable, certified and reusable frames improved the safety and efficiency of handling and transportation of SLB’s Valves on and off site. A multi-size transport solution, these frames can accommodate different pump combinations.
The 5.5T Steel Pallet with tailored chocking systems was perfect for small valves. Compatible with a large variety of bolting and attachment accessories, provides flexibility to suit your specific needs.
The 8T Steel Pallet with chocks and legs was ideal for medium valves. Known for its flexibility it can be used with cylindrical items, equipment with mounting plates or irregular spares.
Customised Frames
The 7.1T customised frame was created to meet SLB’s very specific transport need that required component-specific flexibility.
Adjustable to ensure that valve size variances did not render the frames unusable.
